The Veal Heads
We accidentally received 6 veal heads instead
of beef hearts in one of our orders. Being raised that you never
waste food - I gave them to the dogs to enjoy. This site has
pictures of the dogs, acting like the carnivores they are, taking on the
veal heads.

Once or twice (or maybe three times!) a year
we have a get-together at our farm for all our raw feeding and non-raw
feeding dog friends. We have lots of great food, tons of great
company and the dogs have great fun doing Lure Coursing. Lure
Coursing is where a dog chases a rag or plastic bag that is tied to a
line. The line is run around a set of pulleys staked into the
ground. Our course is usually set up as a simple loop due to the
small size of our field. Most competitive courses are between 500
and 1000 YARDS long - and sometimes more! Any dog that has the
desire to chase a fast moving object is able to course (check out the
pictures of my Cocker - Tazer) but only specific breeds can compete and
win recognized titles in the sport. Here's a great website
that shows a video of dogs coursing. The video is 7 MG in size so
it takes a bit to download:

Christmas Tree
We played a joke
on some friends of ours - telling them that our boy Riggs was getting
carried away in his efforts to try to catch our cat Zoe. We told
them we caught him in the act - and sent them to this website to see
it! On the website you can also see all the photos we took during
the process of setting Riggs up as a tree.
